Account Executive
LM Marketing Group is an established marketing/public relations firm in the world consumer market. LMMG has an ambitious growth strategy that includes opening a new office on the east coast. The target market for our services is, but not limited to, automotive companies & enthusiasts. LMMG is looking for self-starting individuals who can achieve challenging sales goals despite the ambiguity typical in a fast changing market and an even faster changing company.
The sales executive role will focus on signing contracts for marketing, public relations, web design, sponsorship, project car development, and consulting services. This role is expected to establish contacts within the assigned territory such that new and repeat business is a given. Additionally, the role is expected to create a positive impression of LMD in the automotive community through active participation at automotive seminars and events.
The Sales Executive is responsible for prospecting as well as closing sales. The Sales Executive is responsible for providing all input required for pricing. The Sales Executive is expected to provide input to the sales process and product mix, based on real-time customer feedback.
Desired Skills & Experience Qualifications:
1. Minimum 3 years related, successful sales experience
2. Friendly, cooperative, professional attitude and style
3. Strong, persuasive communicator, comfortable in both small and large groups
4. Detail oriented with a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks
5. Experience in an early stage company where there is a need to be a self starter capable of dealing with minimum corporate and local support services
6. Previous position with a consulting firm including sustainability consulting is a plus
7. Not afraid to prospect potential clients and cold call
8. Active in the automotive community such as: forums, car shows, race events, online magazines, and etc… is a huge plus
9. Involved with social media such as: facebook, twitter, linkedin, and etc…
